Hospice of Windsor and Essex County Library

If you are looking for information and resources, we can help! The Hospice lends books, videotapes and audiocassettes for a one-month period.
There is no charge for the library use, and it is available to anyone in Essex County.

A volunteer librarian is available for information requests on Tuesdays 10 am to 4 pm at the Hospice. Information can be obtained by calling 974-7100. If using the voice mail, please state your name, telephone number and request for information clearly. Or contact by e-mail: info@hospicewindsoressex.com

Please give your address if you wish to have the information sent to you. Otherwise, it will be left at the reception desk for you to pick up.

The Hospice Library has books on the following subjects:

  • Children and Teen grief
  • Death and Dying
  • End of life planning
  • Grief - for man and women and parents
  • Hospice Palliative Care
  • Living with cancer including standard and alternative treatment
  • Nutrition
  • Pain Control

Information is also available on many types of cancer, other life threatening illnesses, and the treatment
